Care guide

To prolong their life and preserve their softness, Caring for your home linens is as simple as it is important.

1. BED LINNENS

As soon as you receive your bed linen and before using it for the first time, we strongly recommend that you wash it once or twice to keep it as soft and absorbent as possible.

Rotation

In order to increase their longevity, we strongly advise you to change your bed linen every 2 weeks. However, if you use face, body creams or hair oils, it is recommended that you change your pillowcases more regularly. Ideally, you should have three sets: one on your bed, one in the washing machine and the last one in your closet.

Washing

First of all, remember to remove any make-up, skin cream or oil stains from your bed sheets. Wash them in the washing machine at 40°C/60°, avoiding the use of fabric softeners, which can cause the fibres to stick together. Also avoid overloading your machine to prevent the cotton fibres from breaking. Once the wash is finished, take the sheets out of the machine to avoid creasing.

Drying

You can dry your sheets at low or medium temperature with a cooling cycle at the end to avoid wrinkles.

Ironing

Iron your bed linen while still slightly damp. The use of a steam iron will make ironing easier for you. If the item is embroidered, ironing on the reverse side will prevent damage to the embroidery.

Storage

Make sure that your linens are not exposed to direct sunlight in order to avoid colour fading. Store your linen in a flat and dry surface.

2. BATH LINNENS

Rotation

We recommend washing your towels once a week and, to ensure their rotation, you should have two sets: one stored in your closet and the other in your bathroom.

Washing

Wash your towels hot (60°C) without using fabric softener. Softeners can reduce their absorbency.

Drying

To preserve their softness, dry them in the tumble dryer on a low temperature until they are still slightly damp. Then air dry them in a dry place.

Ironing

Finally, iron your towels at a low temperature. If the item is embroidered, ironing on the reverse side will prevent damage to the embroidery.

Storage

Make sure that your linens are not exposed to direct sunlight in order to avoid colour fading. Store your linen in a flat and dry surface.

3. TABLE LINNENS

Washing

Wash your table linen according to the instructions on the label. However, avoid using fabric softener, which can cause the fibres to stick together. Also avoid overloading your machine to prevent the cotton fibres from breaking.

Drying

You can dry and iron your table linen at a medium temperature with a cooling cycle at the end to reduce the formation of wrinkles.

Ironing

Iron your tablecloths when they are still slightly damp. The use of a steam iron will make ironing easier. If the piece is embroidered, ironing on the reverse side will prevent damage to the embroidery.

Storage

Make sure that your linens are not exposed to direct sunlight in order to avoid colour fading. Store your linen in a flat and dry surface.
